Purpose: Online travel guide
We created the Lanzarote Gay Guide in 2007, after winning the domain name at auction from the site’s predecessors.
The content management system Joomla! was chosen to form the backbone of the site, as this allows a very easy management of the site structure, translation and advertising. We can also take great advantage from the secure and powerful template and module system to keep a lot of content well ordered, and the navigation sensible. For No Apparent Reason has created its own modules and templates to show that template sites don’t have to look alike.
The main features of the site are bar and restaurant listings, activities, a user chat area and a pan-european holiday centre.
